I'm just your average college student, the only difference is that, in addition to maintaining my school life and social life, I also have to manage living with type 1 diabetes. Here's a little bit about me; I am currently going into my senior year as a Biology major at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, and learning is something that I am very passionate about. I am planning on pursuing a career in the healthcare field, and I am currently working as an intern for a Houston-based company called EosHealth. In addition to school, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and trying new and different foods. I grew up in Sonoma County and I work at La Crema Winery during my school breaks, which has brought about a love for wine and the culture of the wine industry. One of the most important parts of my life is my family. I am lucky enough to have been born into a large family that has supported every aspect of my life. I have created this blog to share my experiences as an intern, student, twenty-something, and a person with type 1 diabetes.
